Michael Winner is a sinner, how could he not like this restaurant? (The Times June 2004). It is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to dine in. Winner should join his pal the awful Gordon Ramsey in the sewers of life. Winner knocks chefs just to sell his dreadful column. I, Antony le Ray-Cook believe in giving credit where it is due. Perhaps I should remind readers that I have had my life threatened twice for my restaurant reviews; once in 1985 and again about two years later. One threat was from the IRA and the other from the Mafia. Speak the truth and survive.
