Buchans

62-64 Battersea Bridge Road
London, SW11 3AG -
020 72280888

A joint for locals, and some are now very noisy at lunch time and they are not young, more like grown yobos.
Surely the point of a local restaurant is good food and wine not to shout louder than the next man.

Well, Buchans provides food which somedays is outstanding and other days it is poor. Methinks the chef is in love with pepper, some dishes are black with pepper and other taste only of white pepper.

Maybe someone should tell the cook, 'cos chef he or she ain't, that one should be able to taste the food and not just the pepper.

I get bitterly disapointed by the Russian Roulette approach to cooking, and thereby ordering a dish often not fit to put before a queen!

Should you wish to sleep all afternoon buy a bottle of the house red at £13.50 and you will also get a free headache.
