Brazil or as a Brasilero would spell it Brasil.

The 'Z' seems to be used solely in English language, that aside this excellent guide Brazil is very helpful. Having spent several months visiting this wondrous country and nearly staying for the rest of my life ... I fell in love with the country, the people, and the rhythm of the whole land.

'How to' books would save any one who wished to live in Brazil. The information seems in exhaustible.

A great guide for visitors; listing many of the best beaches, sites and views. The only one I did not find is small and was 'discovered' by Bridget Bardot. Bouzios, a small beach village with great beaches a couple of hours drive from Rio.

Another tip, this one from personal experience, find the local alembics making the great national drink Cachaca. This liquor, made from sugar cane and maize is what gives the dancers their extra energy.

This is the most helpful book/guide I have read on this magnificent country. Brasil is huge and beautiful, the people are beautiful, the beaches are to die for, the meat is great, the local beer and spirits are super. What more do you need?

Cachaca and the Caipirinha cocktail made from Cachaca.

Send me to an earthly heaven –Brazil.

More soon on a Brasileiro restaurant in London.
