Badgers a Cull or a Massacre

Bovine TB can be managed by regular checks of livestock by the farmer; perhaps the poor farmer cannot be pursued to carry them out.

To curb the Badger population perhaps we should re-introduce them to our diet. Yes we did eat Badger. Badger ham was an important ingredient for Cottage Pie. The flavour has been lost to modern palates but I understand it tastes similar to pork.

Field sports have saved and controlled many of our British wild life species. Why not the husbandry of Badgers for the table, we could enjoy the fare of our recent forbearers.

The price paid for a Badger ham would be large in France where a Pheasant can fetch
